It's flower looks a lot like the candy lily which isn't really a lily at all but an iris. The foliage doesn't look iris like though, does it? I might have to try this in one of my shady beds. Happy Fall, Steph!
Thank you Cat:) The flowers do look a lot like a candy lily, they also remind me of orchids. The foliage is different than an iris and the blooms occur on arching stems. They are suppose to be drought tolerant and do well in the shade.
